# Attributes and types

> The attributes and the data types an indicator uses.

## ChartSeriesAttribute

Base of the attribute which declares a series. Derive one class per series and set the defaults in its constructor. See [Series](/concepts/series).

| Member | Meaning |

| constructor `(name)` | name of the series, unique in the indicator |
| `Order` | plot order. With the same value, the declaration order |
| `CurrentStyle`, `AvailableStyle` | default style and the styles the user can choose |
| `PrimaryColor`, `SecondaryColor`, `ThirdColor`, `FourthColor` | default colors |
| `LineWidth`, `LineStyle`, `MarkerStyle`, `PointWidth` | default look |
| `ShortName`, `NameLabel`, `ValueLabel`, `NameShowBG`, `ValueShowBG` | labels on the axis |
| `IncludeOnAutoCenter` | the series counts when the chart centers the axis |
| `Enabled` | initial value of `ChartSeriesDefinition.Enabled` |
| `OverrideAutoColor` | the indicator colors every point itself |
| `ShowInProp` | `false`: the series is not listed in the settings |
| `CustomNumOfPoints` | values per point, when the style does not decide it |

## ChartSeriesDefinition

The property which holds a declared series.

| Member | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `Name` | name of the series |
| `BaseSeries` | the series (`IChartSeries`). `null` until it is created and when it is not enabled |
| `Enabled` | set it in `OnSet` to create the series or not |
| `PrimaryColor` ... `FourthColor` | references to the colors the user chose |

## VolCustomAttribute

Layout and limits of a parameter, namespace `VolumetricaControls`. See [Parameters](/concepts/parameters).

| Member | Meaning |

| `CategoryIndex`, `PropertyIndex` | order of the section and of the parameter |
| `SubCategory` | a group inside the section |
| `MinValue`, `MaxValue`, `IncrementValue`, `DecimalPosToShow` | numbers |
| `IsVisible` | hides the parameter |
| `IsAlert` | a `DynamicList` of alert sounds |
| `EnableTransparent` | a color can be transparent |
| `SerializeIgnore` | the value is not saved |

## ColorRef

A reference to a color. See [Colors](/concepts/colors).

| Member | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `ColorRef.FromRgb(r, g, b)`, `ColorRef.FromArgb(a, r, g, b)` | a fixed color |
| named colors (`ColorRef.Yellow`, ...) | fixed colors |
| `WithOpacity(alpha)` | the same color with a transparency, 0 to 255 |
| `Kind` | where the color comes from: `Literal`, `Parameter`, `Series`, `Theme` |

## ChartAreaRef

| Member | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `ChartAreaRef.Main` | the price area |
| `ChartArea` (member of the indicator) | the area the user placed the indicator in |

## CallHandler

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `Off` | never called |
| `RT` | realtime only |
| `HistRT` | history and realtime |

## BarClass

One bar. See [Market data](/concepts/market-data).

| Member | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `Open`, `High`, `Low`, `Close` | prices |
| `OpenInT`, `HighInT`, `LowInT`, `CloseInT` | prices as integer ticks |
| `exchDt`, `dt` | time of the bar: exchange time, local time |
| `Index` | index of the bar |
| `IsNewDay`, `SessionIndex` | first bar of a session, number of the session |
| `VolTotList` | volume totals. `[0]` is every trade |
| `PriceList`, `VbpListAll` | volume by price, with `NeedVbp` |
